The end (9) of the nozzle (8) is connected to a means (12) for degassing the blowing fluid, capable of bearing tightly on the upper surface (7) of the mould (5) so as to define an inner volume (13) in which the blowing fluid blown under pressure into the preform (2) can be discharged after the preform (2) blowing operation.

The inventive station comprises a bracket that supports a blow mould, a stretch rod and means for controlling the movements of the stretch rod. The aforementioned control means comprise: (i) an actuator, and (ii) a roller and a speed control cam, said roller coming into contact with the speed control cam as the stretch rod enters the blow mould, thereby controlling the speed with which the stretch rod enters the blow mould. The invention is characterised in that the speed control cam is disposed below the base of the blow mould.
