  • Patent number: 9567063
Abstract: Flap track fairing systems are split into a forward immovably fixed portion and an aft movable portion. The fixed forward portion is immovably attached to the main wing structure of an aircraft while the movable aft portion is attached either to the movable components of the flap deployment mechanism or to the lower surface of the flap. A separation line between the forward movable portion and the aft fixed portion is provided such that the movable portion does not interfere structurally with the flap fairing structure during a flap extension/retraction cycle. An airflow deflector is positioned near a forward separation edge of the aft fairing portion so as to be positioned within a gap defined between the forward edge of the aft fairing portion and a rearward edge of the forward fairing portion when the flap is in the deployed configuration thereof to thereby deflect airflow away from the interior space of the fairing.

  • Patent number: 8361266
Abstract: A fabrication method for producing a hollow three dimensional object is disclosed. The method includes disposing a layer of adhesive over a top surface of an elastic material, disposing a layer of fabric to the top surface of the elastic material, such that the layer of adhesive secures the layer of fabric to the elastic material, applying a silkscreen stencil to the outward facing side of the layer of fabric, applying printable material to the outward facing side of the layer of fabric via the silkscreen stencil, applying heat to set the printable material to the layer of fabric, pressing an inside surface of a mold against the top surface of the elastic material, so as to produce a first three-dimensional object having an open end and removing excess elastic material from a rim of the open end of the first three-dimensional object.

  • Publication number: 20100026080
Abstract: A set of wheels with a system for rotation and transposition of obstacles, for bases of travel bags, trunks and similar, comprising a support whose nucleus has a central bore and from which terminals are projected, in the quantity of three or more, which, in their turn, also have bores on their ends where the wheels are attached; when the user pulls the baggage or the kind, the wheels of contact with the surface normally rotate on their shafts, by the terminals of their supports, on the sides of the base; when it finds an obstacle, with the stress offered, the supports begin to rotate on their shafts on the sides of the base, thus making the wheel or subsequent wheels of the wheels, rotate on the obstacle, and going over it easily and the user does not have to make bigger strength and can normally take the base with the bag or the kind.

  • Patent number: 6024039
Abstract: A causeway mooring apparatus adapted for use with a causeway having a pluity of spaced apart pontoons. The causeway mooring apparatus fits within a gap between adjacent pontoons of the causeway and includes a cleat which is used to secure tow or mooring lines to the causeway. The causeway mooring apparatus is secured to the adjacent pontoons and a pair of L-shaped stringers by a plurality of threaded bolts which also allow for the removal of the causeway mooring apparatus from the causeway. The foundation for the causeway mooring apparatus is an L-shaped tubular support structure. A pair of side stiffener plates are attached to the L-shaped tubular support structure. The side stiffener plates have a cleat mounting plate affixed to their top edge with the cleat mounting plate supporting the cleat. The side stiffener plates transfer applied loads from the cleat through the L-shaped tubular support structure of the mooring apparatus to the pair of L-shaped stringers.
