Abstract: A set of functions, which comprises one or more access function and at least one network function, is provided in a telecommunication network. The telecommunication network is configured to provide compositions of functions based on the access function and the network function. Each composition of functions is uniquely identified by an identifier. The telecommunication network is further configured to provide to a terminal equipment one or more composition of functions based on the access function and the network function. The telecommunication network is further configured to make available the identifier of each composition of functions to the terminal equipment.

Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a method for activating a Nomadic Node (NN) in a wireless communication network comprising at least one NN 304, wherein said at least one NN 304 is provided on a vehicle, at least one Base Station, (BS) 301, 302, 303, and a NN control means 200, comprising the steps of collecting, by the NN control means 200, information elements in said wireless communication network, and activating, by the NN control means 200, said at least one NN 304 on the basis of the collected information elements. The disclosure further refers to a corresponding NN control means 200 and system.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a mobile wireless communication device (101a-c) configured to communicate with a location management server (105) over a wireless communication network. The mobile wireless communication device (101a-c) is configured to be part of a cluster of mobile wireless communication devices managed on the basis of a clustering protocol, wherein the clustering protocol is configured to select one of the mobile wireless communication devices (101a-c) of the cluster of mobile wireless communication devices to be a cluster head for representing the cluster of mobile wireless communication devices. The mobile wireless communication devices (101a-c) of the cluster of mobile wireless communication devices are either in a network-connected mode or a network-idle mode relative to the wireless communication network.
