  • Patent number: 11957281
Abstract: A cell phone case includes a housing, pod, and cover. The housing has: a first opening creating a first housing cavity to house the cell phone; and a second opening forming a second housing cavity to house the pod. The pod includes: a backing, a container, and a strip. The container has an elongated opening into a cavity that houses sanitizing wipes. A portion of the strip is sized to cover and extend beyond a periphery of the opening, and releasably adhere to the container to seal the opening to house the sanitizing wipes in a waterproof manner. A second portion of the strip is grasped to unseal and reseal the first portion. The cover attaches to the housing to hide the pod, which may be releasably retained in the housing even when the cover is removed. A spray bottle of sanitizer is stored in the second housing cavity.

  • Patent number: 7946287
Abstract: Solar concentrator system(s) that include parabolic Total Reflection Reflectors with corrected Curved Rectangular Total Reflection Prisms are provided. The corrected Curved Rectangular Total Reflection Prisms remove optical imperfections of diffusion typically present at conventional rectangular prisms of conventional parabolic and paraboloid TRR, and enable accurate focusing and high concentration ratios. A variation of the corrected Curved Rectangular Total Reflection Prisms allows the construction of a corrected solar wave guide with total reflection walls (Solar Artery), which enables the removal of the diffusion (and losses) typically present at conventional Hollow Solar Wave Guides, and increase by one or more orders of magnitude the light-propagation range of Solar Arteries for the same level of losses.

  • Publication number: 20070240705
Abstract: This invention refers to the development of innovative parabolic and paraboloid total reflection Reflectors with Curved Rectangular Total Reflection Prisms, which raise the imperfection of diffusion at the conventional rectangular prisms of the conventional parabolic and paraboloid TRR so that an accurate focusing and high Concentration (500 till 1500 suns or even more) are succeeded. Also refers to the development of an Innovative Solar Wave Guide with total reflection walls (Solar Artery), with Curved Rectangular Total Reflection Prisms which raise the phenomenon of diffusion (and losses) at the conventional Rectangular prisms of the conventional Hollow Solar Wave Guides and increase, one or even more orders of magnitude, the range of Solar Arteries for the same level of losses.

  • Publication number: 20040163697
Abstract: A concentrating type Hybrid Photovoltaic (P/V) Systems for the simultaneous production of electrical, thermal and cooling energy by using total reflection (or conventional) mirrors (301a), which are produced by impression of glass. With the use of concentrating type PV Cells (302a), on which the concentrated solar energy is focused, electrical energy is produced, with simultaneous production of hot water from the cooling of the PV Cells or also overheated oil by partial focusing of solar radiation upon the PV Cells and the rest of the radiation in a special heating oil focal cavity (900a). Also, with the use of special Adsorption Heat Pumps, which convert the thermal power of the produced low temperature hot water into cooling power, it is possible the direct utilization of the produced hot water in the summer for air conditioning and in the winter directly for space heating.
