  • Patent number: 12222041
Abstract: A fluid valve, in particular for a motor vehicle and/or a temperature control system, having a housing and a valve body disposed in the housing so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis. The housing has a first port and a third port disposed on opposite side of a normal plane in relation to the rotation axis and a second port which is radially spaced apart from the rotation axis and in the direction of the rotation axis is disposed between the first and the third port. The valve body in at least one rotary position connects at least two ports of the housing to one another, and in at least one other rotary position does not connect the two ports to one another.

  • Publication number: 20240421330
Abstract: A throttle flap actuator unit having a throttle flap actuator having an electric-motor-adjustable throttle flap, and a fluid channel, the fluid channel having a first and a second fluid channel section, the first fluid channel section having a flow cross section which is variable by the throttle flap. The second fluid channel section has a geometry which gives rise to a pressure drop in a fluid flowing through the fluid channel. A fuel cell system has a throttle flap actuator unit of this type and motor vehicle has a fuel cell system of this type.

  • Publication number: 20240240717
Abstract: A valve arrangement, having a housing with a fluid line and a valve arranged in the fluid line which has a valve seat, a valve flap, and a valve opening, the valve flap being pivotable about a pivot axis between a closed position, in which the valve flap lies against the valve seat and closes the valve in fluid-tight fashion, and an open position, in which the valve flap opens up the valve opening. The valve flap, in the closed position, defining an X-Y plane of a coordinate system and the pivot axis being arranged with a spacing to the X-Y plane and defining the Y direction of the coordinate system. An alignment mechanism aligns the arrangement in which the valve flap is situated relative to the valve seat in the closed position to be is alignable and fixable at least in the X direction.

  • Patent number: 11885255
Abstract: A multiport valve, having a housing having at least two connectors, a control element for blocking at least one of the connectors, the control element disposed to be rotatable in a recess of the housing. An external contour of the control element has a compression portion which in at least one first position of the control element compresses a first seal disposed on a first one of the connectors. The external contour of the control element has a decompression portion that has a smaller radius than the compression portion and in at least one further position of the control element lies opposite the first seal such that the control element compresses the first seal to a lesser extent than in the first position.

  • Patent number: 11835155
Abstract: A seal arrangement for a fluid valve has: a first sealing element configured to bear sealingly against a valve housing of the fluid valve; a second sealing element configured to bear sealingly against an adjustable, rotatable, valve body of the fluid valve; and an elastically deformable intermediate piece arranged, axially, between a first wall of the first sealing element, which faces the second sealing element, and a second wall of the second sealing element, which faces the first sealing element, so as to elastically space apart the first and second sealing elements. In at least one axial portion of the intermediate piece, an axial cross section of the intermediate piece has a first radial lateral surface and an opposite second radial lateral surface. The first radial lateral surface is convex and the second radial lateral surface is concave, planar or less convex than the first radial lateral surface.

  • Publication number: 20190348884
Abstract: A contact ring arrangable on a stator of an electronically commutated electric motor includes at least two pairs of identical, part-annular, metallic elements. Each of the pairs is connected to a terminal lug for attaching to a voltage source. A first one of the two elements of a pair extends from the terminal lug in a first circumferential direction of the stator in a first normal position, and a second one of the two elements extends from the terminal lug in a second circumferential direction of the stator in a second position turned with respect to the first normal position. The identical, part-annular, metallic elements each have an offset 8, configured such that two elements of the contact ring that face one another of two adjacent terminal lugs overlap in the region of the offset without coming into contact.

  • Patent number: 9848223
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for automatically identifying restored availability of multi-channel media distributors for authentication or authorization. For example, during a period of reduced availability for a multi-channel media distributor, the entitlement service diverts some or all requests from reaching the multi-channel media distributor. These requests are for programmers associated with the multi-channel media distributor to provide media content to user devices. The entitlement service subsequently transmits test requests to the multi-channel media distributor. The entitlement service determines that the multi-channel media distributor has authenticated user credentials included in the test requests or has authorized content access based on the test requests.

  • Patent number: 9641880
Abstract: Embodiments are provided for automatically identifying reduced availability of multi-channel media distributors for authentication or authorization. For example, an entitlement service communicates with a multi-channel media distributor to authenticate viewers requesting content from programmers or to confirm that authenticated viewers are authorized to receive content from the programmers. The entitlement service receives requests for various programmers to provide media content to user devices, and transmits the requests to the multi-channel media distributor. The entitlement service determines a reduced availability of the multi-channel media distributor based on, for example, an unusually low success rate for authenticating users or authorizing the users' access to content access based on the transmitted requests.
