  • Patent number: 4813619
Abstract: A disintegrator comprises a housing (1) and a grinding chamber (2) accommodating grinding wheels mounted on shafts (9, 10) of electric motors. The peripheral zone of the chamber (2) accommodates inclined plates (13) of a classifier arranged about the circumference so that an annular slot (14) is formed between these plates and a cylindrical portion (3) of the chamber (2) through which the chamber (2) communicates with a separator (15). The separator (15) embraces one of the electric motors (11) and communicates by way of a passage (21) of return flow of air with an air distributor (22) embracing the electric motor (12). The distributor (22) is connected to the chamber (2) by way of annular slot (24) between the plates (13) of the classifier and the last grinding wheel (8) of the rotor. Connected to the separator (15) is a collector (18) of fine fraction of the material.

  • Patent number: 4659025
Abstract: A disintegrator according to the invention comprises a milling chamber (1) accommodating rotors rotating in opposite directions relative to each other. The rotors comprise carrier discs (4, 11) and disintegrating wheels (6, 13) concentrically mounted thereon. Each disintegrating wheels (6 or 13) comprises a cylindrical shell (17) having openings (18) and milling bodies (19) provided behind the openings on one side thereof. In addition, the wheel is also provided with a pair of guard members (20, 21) installed in mutually perpendicular planes which are designed to prevent a material (15) being disintegrated from getting into spaces between the carrier discs (4, 11) and disintegrating wheels (6, 13). One guard member (20) comprises a ring mounted on the periphery of the shell (17) on the inner side thereof to extend around the group of the milling bodies (19).

  • Patent number: 4653700
Abstract: A disintegrator includes a grinding chamber (1) accommodating grinding rotors. The housing of the chamber (1) includes a cylindrical portion (7) having an outlet pipe (19) for evacuating the material and two side walls (9 and 10) one of which, particularly wall (9) has a feeding pipe (12). The cylindrical portion (7) can be turned relative to the side walls (9 and 10) the desired position being fixed by locking assemblies (11) arranged about the periphery of the cylindrical portion (7). Each locking assembly (11) includes a pressure plate (13). One end of the pressure plate (13) bears on a projection (15) provided on one of the side walls (10), whereas the other end is received by an annular groove (16) made on the outer surface of the cylindrical portion (7) of the housing. In addition, the plate (13) is secured to the side wall (10)having the projection (15) by a bolt ( 14).
