The wireless device may then perform a checking function on respective first data portions for the one or more candidate paths using respective first data check portions, and determine whether to terminate the successive decoding process prior to completing decoding of the encoded code block based at least in part on determining whether the checking function for each of the one or more candidate paths for the first data portion has failed the checking function.

The apparatus may be a base station. In an aspect, the base station determines parameter information of one or more parameters. The base station selects, based on the parameter information, synchronization resources from a plurality of candidate resources for transmission of one or more synchronization signals, where the selected synchronization resources correspond to the parameter information. The base station transmits the one or more synchronization signals using the selected synchronization resources.

    Abstract: Different sets of downlink control information (DCI) fields may be configured for DCI that includes an indication to trigger bandwidth part switching at a user equipment (UE). For example, a UE may receive DCI that triggers the UE to switch operation from a first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part. The UE may also identify a set of transformable DCI fields and a set of non-transformable DCI fields within the DCI. The UE may then determine updated content of the DCI for application to the second bandwidth part based on whether DCI fields are included in the set of transformable or the set of non-transformable fields. In some cases, the UE may identify a null assignment in the received DCI and may switch its operation from the first bandwidth part to the second bandwidth part based on the null assignment.
