  • Publication number: 20230213449
Abstract: A sample inspection device includes a filter unit having a plurality of optical filters configured to transmit lights of different wavelength ranges, a light source unit configured to irradiate light to any one of the optical filters, a stage for placing a sample, and a reflector oriented to reflect light transmitted through one of the optical filters to the stage and to reflect light emitted from the sample on the stage to another one of the optical filters. The device also includes a detection unit for detecting light emitted from the sample on the stage through light transmitted through the another one of the optical filters, an actuator for moving the filter unit, and a control unit configured to control the actuator to move the filter unit when the detection unit receives the light passing through the another one of the optical filters.

  • Patent number: 11300500
Abstract: A sample detection device includes a first polarizer configured to allow part of incident light to pass therethrough by polarizing the incident light, a stage disposed on a path of light having passed the first polarizer, the stage allowing a sample to be seated thereon, a second polarizer configured to polarize light and a detection unit configured to detect light having passed the second polarizer and to generate a detection signal. The first polarizer allows first polarized light oscillating in a first direction to proceed toward the sample when the incident light reaches the first polarizer. Emission light is emitted by an excitation of the sample when the first polarized light reaches the sample. The second polarizer allows second polarized light oscillating in a second direction to proceed toward the detection unit when the emission light reaches the second polarizer.

  • Patent number: 7684042
Abstract: Disclosed is a micro particle analyzing device illuminating light to fluid including micro particles, reading the lights emitted from the micro particles at a signal processing reading section and thus analyzing the micro particles. The device comprises a light source section emitting light which will be illuminated to the fluid; a lens regulating an amount and a focal distance of the light emitted from the light source; and a concave mirror condensing light emitted from the micro particle to reflect it to the reading section wherein the concave mirror is formed with a hole so that the light of the light source section having passed through the lens can pass through the concave mirror. When analyzing the micro particles using the analyzing device according to the invention, the amounts of lights emitted from the micro particles according to up-and-down positions of the micro particles are not different.

  • Publication number: 20080316474
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical device for illuminating a chip having a sample provided thereto with a beam in an apparatus for observing the sample. The optical device comprises a light source; and a first reflector reflecting the beam of the light source to allow the reflected beam to be incident on the chip at an inclined angle. In addition, the invention provides an apparatus for observing micro particles having the optical device. When the light of the light source is incident on the sample at an incline angle according to the optical device of the invention, it is possible to maximize a transmittancy of the light. Accordingly, the light emitted from the sample is clearer and a clear image can be thus obtained.

  • Patent number: 7411680
Abstract: A device for counting micro particles is presented. The device comprises a light source; a chip containing micro particles; an object lens; a CCD camera; a counting part; and a shifter for shifting the position of the chip. It is easy to count the number of micro particles, such as red blood cells or somatic cells, by using the device. The shifter shifts the position of the chip by a predetermined distance at every predetermined time interval in order that a certain area adjacent to the area photographed just before is shifted to the point where the light is incident. Therefore, sub-areas on the chip are photographed successively. The counting part counts the number of micro particles in each sub-area, and adds them together to calculate the total number of micro particles in the samples.
