    Abstract: The invention relates to filtering devices for purifying a liquid and can be used in household conditions for additional purification of mains water and other liquids for household needs. The filtering device consists of two working zones, at least, of one fixing means at least one adjusting element. A filter cartridge is filled with a filtering material and is configured in the form of an open bowl which can be closed with a lid, having side walls and a bottom with at least one outlet opening which is closed with a water-permeable material, wherein the cartridge bottom is designed such as to make it possible to use the water-permeable material which comes to the external edge of the side walls and is made of fibers with a sufficiently small diameter to allow using the filtering material containing powder particles; furthermore, the entire area between external and internal edges of the walls along the perimeter of the bottom is made of a composite based on a polymer water-permeable material.

    Abstract: A device for purifying a liquid is disclosed. The device includes a collecting vessel for an unpurified liquid, a collecting vessel for a purified liquid, a replaceable filter module filled with a filter material and an automatic means for timed injection of air into the collecting vessel for the unpurified liquid during a filtration process. The automatic means is connected to the collecting vessel for the unpurified liquid by an injection nozzle having a pressure control valve. Moreover, the automatic means is for maintaining positive air pressure above the unpurified liquid during the filtration process. Maintenance of positive air pressure during the filtration process increases filtration speed of the liquid with simultaneous increase in degree of purification of the liquid.
