    Abstract: The present disclosure concerns detection systems which are kinetically controlled. In the systems of the present disclosure, the systems are kinetically controlled by a first association constant (k1) between the targeting oligonucleotide and the target, a second association constant (k2) between the targeting oligonucleotide and the signaling oligonucleotide and a third association constant (k3) between the signaling oligonucleotide and an anchoring nucleotide.
