  • Patent number: 9103629
Abstract: The present invention describes a weapon firing simulator comprising a laser transmitter arranged to emit a light beam triggered by a simulated firing, wherein the laser transmitter has sweeping means arranged for sweeping the emitted light beam typically around the simulated projectile or missile, the laser transmitter has modifying means arranged for modifying the emitted light beam to contain information, for transmission of a simulated engagement coordinate.

  • Patent number: 8876533
Abstract: An evaluation system for shooting training. The evaluation system is arranged to determine from which shooter fired ammunition detected by a target system originates. The evaluation system includes a receiver unit arranged to receive shooter messages from a plurality of weapon systems and to receive a target message from the target system. Each shooter message includes time marked firing information and first pairing information related to a weapon of the weapon system. Each target message includes time marked hit/miss information and second pairing information related to a target of the target system. The evaluation system further includes a processing unit arranged to pair the target with one associated weapon based on the target message and each respective shooter message. Also, a method for determining from where ammunition detected at a target was fired.

  • Patent number: 7844183
Abstract: A system for transmission of information between at least two players in a training area comprises means on a first (1) of said players for encoding light pulses and means for transmitting information in the form of such coded light pulses towards at least one second (2-4) of said players, said second player having means for receiving said light pulses and means for decoding the information thereof. Each of said players is provided with a clock, and the system comprises means for keeping said clocks synchronized. The encoding means and the decoding means are adapted to utilize data of times of transmission and receipt of said light pulses for transmitting information from the first player to the second player.
