Abstract: A cage is for farming fish. The cage floats in a water column and the upper portion of the cage has a surrounding floating body arranged to float in a water surface. An enclosure is located between the upper portion and the lower portion of the cage, the enclosure being closed in its lower portion and forming an inside and an outside. The cage has a liquid-tight wall which is attached to the floating body and which extends from the water surface downwards in the water column. The liquid-tight wall forms a lower edge portion. The cage is provided, in its upper portion, with at least one flow booster for creating a circular water current within the liquid-tight wall. A method for creating an upward water current of fresh water within the cage is also provided.

Abstract: A method is for assembly of a fish cage. The fish cage has a bottom unit having a buoyancy exceeding a weight of the bottom unit. The bottom unit has a body configured impermeable to water. The fish cage further has at least one wall element configured impermeable to water. The method includes providing the bottom unit on a surface of a water body. The method further includes connecting the at least one wall element to the body, thereby defining a spacing impermeably separated from the water body.

Abstract: A floatable structure has a cage with a surrounding wall and a bottom, the cage being arranged for fish farming. A surrounding skirt extends in a downward direction from the bottom, wherein at least a portion of the bottom from the skirt towards a center of the cage is tight. The portion of the bottom and the skirt forming a bottom section are arranged to be filled with a gas giving the floatable structure additional buoyancy.

The cage includes at least a lower section, forming a bottom portion of the cage, said lower section having a wall comprising an elastic material and/or being elastically connected to the middle sections; whereby transfer of dynamic forces between the lower section and the adjoining section is reduced. An assembly comprises a plurality of fish farming plants.

Abstract: An apparatus for anchoring a floating off-shore unit or other type of floating vessel, comprising a rotatably mounted chain sprocket wheel (3) having a chain (3a) secured on its outer periphery, The wheel (3) being arranged to be rotated by reciprocating movement of at least two hydraulic cylinders (1, 2). Each of the cylinders (1, 2) is provided with a locking arm (6, 7) for releasably and mechanically engaging a portion of the wheel (3) in order to rotate the wheel (3) during movement of the respective cylinders (1, 2). Also described is a chain stopper comprising at least four blocks (8) that are hinged at their first ends and at their second ends have a surface that is adapted to engage a chain link The blocks (8) are mounted in opposite pairs.
