  • Patent number: 8414743
Abstract: A method and a device for the thermal decomposition of an initial material, in particular, for the decomposition of meat and bone meal, oil sludges, for example, from cleaning tankers, autofluff (also called autofluffy), basic glycerin, for example, from biodiesel production, paint sludges from paint shops, contaminated soils, coated wood, and plastics such as plexiglass. According to the present method, organic initial materials are thermally decomposed very completely in nearly all cases. The very complete decomposition is achieved by adding foreign particles such as metal spheres to the initial material which is being thermally decomposed.

  • Publication number: 20110122722
Abstract: The invention relates to a mixer for mixing mixing material at high temperatures of for example 300° C. to 600° C., as well as to a method for operating the mixer. It is an object of the invention to provide a mixer that can comprise a plurality of feeding members which are capable of following the movements of the mixer even at high temperatures. For achieving the object, the mixer comprises such installation means that an area of the mixing container is or can be fixed relative to the ground surface, said area can be provided on both sides with feeding members. Because a horizontal mixer can be fixed only at one front face in the case of a mixer according to the prior art, feeding members can only be connected with the mixing container from a side adjacent to the end wall.

  • Patent number: 5201982
Abstract: Self-sealing envelopes having an envelope front with two side flaps and a osure flap, and a bottom flap with an edge strip along the free edge of the bottom flap, are produced by cutting blanks to size, and producing precreases along lines where folds will be made to fold all flaps. A self-sealing adhesive is applied to the inner surface on the closure flap and on the outer surface of the bottom flap edge strip. All precreases are formed on the same side of the blank, whereby the edge strip must be folded in a direction opposite to its precrease. This feature facilitates the movement of the blank through the envelope production machine into which the blank moves with the edge strip leading in the feed advance direction, and all creasing tools operate in the same creasing direction, whereby all precreasing tools can be located on the same side of the blank.

  • Patent number: 4997285
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine for handling pourable, pasty and/or fluid materials with disintegrating devices secured to the wall of the container. In known machines, to replace the disintegrating devices, it is necessary to remove them complete with the drive, for which purpose a relatively large opening is necessary in the wall of the container, and much time and work is involved. In the novel machine the shaft of the disintegrating device is made in two mutually separable parts so that the part carrying the pulverizing tools can be inserted and removed from inside the container, while the other part is permanently secured on the outside. It therefore requires only relatively small openings in the wall of the container and the opening, if not needed, can be closed off simply by the use of a plug-in cover. Insertion and removal of the tools is rapid and involves only a single screw.
