  • Patent number: 8033577
Abstract: A flared screw fitting has a pipe expanded in an end section into a tulip flare. A connecting piece has a conical stop face situated on an end section, which is joined in the direction of a forward front face of the connecting piece by a groove. An internal mantle surface of a union element contacts an external mantle surface of the tulip flare in an area whose smallest diameter is larger than the smallest diameter of the stop face of the connecting piece. The union element may be provided with an external threaded section which works together with an internal threaded section of the connecting piece.

  • Patent number: 7837236
Abstract: A pipe connection has a aped pipe, a screw fitting body having an internal cone, a union nut, screwable onto the screw fitting body, having an internal clamping face, which, in the operating state of the pipe connection, works together with an outwardly projecting retention face of a retention bulge of the pipe which is produced facing away from the pipe end by reshaping and projects radially outward beyond the outer mantle surface of the pipe, and having an adapter ring which is supported on the side facing toward the screw fitting body by a conical clamping face in the internal cone of the screw fitting body. To provide an alternative pipe connection of this type, the adapter ring may be supported in the operating state on the side facing toward the pipe by a radially running contact face on the radially running front face of the pipe end.

  • Publication number: 20100140920
Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe joint (1) or to a method for producing the pipe joint, comprising a pipe (4), a threaded connecting body (3) and a coupling nut (7). The pipe (4) comprises a non-deformed section (5) in which the pipe (4) is in an original state, and a joint section (6) in which the pipe (4) is configured with a retaining bead (17), which transitions into a 45° retaining cone (18) on one side and transitions into a 24° centering cone (19) on another side, wherein the 45° retaining cone (18) interacts with a 45° clamping cone (14) of the coupling nut (7), and the 24° centering cone (19) interacts with a 24° receiving cone (8) of the threaded connecting body (3) in an operating state of the pipe connection (1).

  • Publication number: 20070267867
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pipe connection (1) having a reshaped pipe (4), a screw fitting body (2) having an internal cone (6), a union nut (5), which may be screwed onto the screw fitting body (2), having an internal clamping face (15), which, in the operating state of the pipe connection (1), works together with an outwardly projecting retention face (12) of a retention bulge (11) of the pipe (4), which is produced facing away from the pipe end by reshaping and projects radially outward beyond the outer mantle surface of the pipe, and having an adapter ring (3, 30) which is supported on the side facing toward the screw fitting body (2) by a conical clamping face (7) in the internal cone (6) of the screw fitting body (2). To provide an alternative pipe connection (1) of this type, it is suggested that the adapter ring (3, 30) be supported in the operating state on the side facing toward the pipe (4) by a radially running contact face (8) on the radially running front face (14) of the pipe end.

  • Publication number: 20070236016
Abstract: A flared screw fitting (1) has a pipe (3) expanding in an end section to form a tulip flare (11) and a connecting piece (2) having a conical stop face (15) situated on an end section, which is a joined in the direction of a forward front face (27) of the connecting piece (2) by a groove (16) for an elastic sealing ring (17) and on which an internal mantle surface (14) of the tulip flare (11) of the pipe (3) is supported, by which the sealing ring (17) is pressed into the groove (16) in the final mounted state of the screw fitting, furthermore, the tulip flare (11), using a union element adjoining its external mantle surface (19), which works together via a threaded section with a corresponding threaded section on the connecting piece (2), may be pressed against the stop face (15) of the connecting piece (2) in the course of tightening of the screw fitting.

  • Patent number: 6431613
Abstract: A pipe connection has a connecting member (1). The connecting member (1) has a first end face (4), a first conical bore (5), starting to taper from the latter, which defines a first cone angle (11). The connecting member also includes an axial bore length (9) followed by a bore (6). The outside of the connecting member (1) has a threaded portion (3). A nut (13) has a second conical bore (15) tapered in the direction opposite to the direction of the first conical bore (5). The second conical bore defines a second cone angle (16). A through-bore (17) is in the nut (13). A pipe (18) has a pipe projection (19) which extends into the bore (6) of the connecting member (1). A connecting portion (21) is on the pipe (18). A first conical tensioning face (22) which cooperates with the first conical bore (5) is on the connecting portion (21).

  • Patent number: 6168211
Abstract: A threaded connection for easily deformable thin-walled pipes (20) has a connecting member (1) with a cylindrical receiving bore (5) accommodating the pipe (20) and an outer thread (7). A nut (8) is provided with an inner thread (10) which is threaded onto the outer thread (7). The nut (8) has a through-bore (11) for the pipe (20) and a conical bore (13) which widens towards the connecting member (1). The pipe (20), at a distance from its end face (21), has a bulge (23) which is held in a clamped-in condition between the conical bore (13) and a conical supporting face (18) of a separate supporting ring (14). To limit the tightening movement, the supporting ring (14) has a stop face (19) against which the conical bore (13) comes to rest when the nut (8) is tightened. A holding face (17) on the supporting ring (14) is supported against the end face (3) of the connecting member (1).
