Abstract: A rack and system of racks for holding objects for storage or display. The racks comprise spaced planar sides normally vertically oriented, the sides each having top, bottom, front and back edges. A rectangular base panel is provided extending between the sides, along the length of their bottom edges. A rectangular top panel is also provided extending between the sides along a portion of the length of their top edges from the back. The rack has an open back with the back edges of the sides having outwardly, oppositely extending flanges for mounting the rack. The front of the rack may be open or it may be provided with a planar rectangular front panel extending between the sides along a portion of the length of their front edges from the bottom, the front sections being normally vertically oriented. The top edge of the front panel and the front edge of the top panel leave a sufficient opening to the interior of the rack from the front or top for objects to be manually placed thereon or removed therefrom.

Abstract: A storage compartment labelling system comprising an attachment for a visible front face of each storage compartment, the attachment including an upwardly and backwardly sloping front panel, an opening in the panel, an insert adapted to be removably inserted into the opening and adapted to display information relating to the contents of the compartment to which the attachment is attached, and a support surface behind a major lower portion of the opening for supporting the insert in the opening, and wherein at least one of the orientation of the insert in the opening and the face of the insert to be displayed is selectively variable.

Abstract: A cabinet structure for space-efficient storage and/or display of a wide variety of small and medium sized items utilizing certain basic parts and offering with optional accessories a versatile storage system that can be assembled to meet the individual requirements of many different users and purposes. The cabinet structure comprises a base, a pair of spaced vertical sides, a back and a top. It can be used alone or means may be provided on the sides to secure it in combination with other related cabinet structures. The structure may carry one or more shelves at selected vertical spacings, the ends of the shelves being removably supported on the cabinet sides and optionally adjustable in width, i.e., from back to front of the cabinet, and the cabinet side supporting means being able to support the shelf ends in the shelf width selected. Provision is made for supporting vertical dividers extending in front to back direction between adjacent shelves at selected spacings.
