Abstract: Innovation or other desired activities are managed autonomously and adaptively by providing discrimination of inputs directed to the activity and the management infrastructure respectively. These categories of inputs are evaluated in different evaluation paths allowing different degrees of intervention. Exposure of inputs and acceptance of feedback in regard thereto are provided. Collaboration and periodic peer review are also encouraged through autonomous and automatic management of inputs and developments thereof.

Abstract: An innovation signature useful in placing an individual within an organization to optimally support creativity and innovation by that individual is developed from information regarding innovative behavior of an individual, a record of motivational rewards and information regarding the current and historical interests, preferably derived from a survey and reward history of an individual. The innovation signature is refined by comparing the innovation signature with a definition of desired innovation activity, alteration of motivational drivers and feedback of the altered motivational drivers to the record of motivational rewards.

Abstract: Motivational signatures are developed based on information regarding motivational preferences and other information supplied by individuals or groups of individuals as a survey or diagnostic procedure and preferably including responses to a definition of motivational drivers and reward options and parameters serving as a default motivational signature reflecting a motivational policy. A motivational signature is developed based on the definition and the information supplied. Upon completion of a desired behavior a reward is provided in accordance with the motivational signature and the motivational signature is refined through feedback of information regarding response to the reward.

Abstract: An integrated autonomic innovation infrastructure including an autonomic management system, a motivational signature management system and/or an innovation signature management system manages all aspects of innovation activity for an organization including maintaining a record of submissions of innovation and development thereof including support of collaboration, matching problems with solutions and review and evaluation thereof, management of employee motivation through matching of incentives to innovation and supporting optimal deployment of individuals within an organizational structure to support creative and innovative activity as well as handling consideration and collaboration in regard to submissions in regard to improvements in the infrastructure, itself. numerous feedback paths in each system and between systems allow adaptive optimization of each of the systems and the integrated infrastructure.
