  • Patent number: 4548885
Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible photosensitive layer containing a polymeric binder, which is capable of being laminated and is applied to a preferably flexible support. The photosensitive layer comprises a photoconductor layer composed of a substantially organic photoconductor, the binder, a sensitizer and/or activator, in which the binder comprises at least one copolymer having repeating units of the general formula ##STR1## Wherein R.sub.1 denotes ##STR2## and R.sub.2 denotes H or --CH.sub.3.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 24, 1984
Date of Patent: October 22, 1985
    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft

    Assignee: Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Alfred Brechlin, Heinz Herrmann
  • Patent number: 3976583
Abstract: This invention relates to an electrophotographic developer liquid comprising a dispersion of a colored, viscous solution of polymers containing about 0.01 to 10 per cent by weight of water, calculated on the weight of polymers present, in an electrically insulating carrier liquid having a kauri-butanol value of less than about 30 and in which at least one of the polymers is sparingly soluble. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the novel electrophotographic developer liquid.
    Type: Grant
