The accessory is an insert that is adapted to sit between the bottom and the top of the grill and is generally shaped with a horizontal cross-section substantially similar to the horizontal cross section at the junction of the bottom and the top of the grill with which it is adapted to work. The insert increases the height of the cooking chamber. The switch case is enclosed in a second case of plastic with a hardened layer of epoxy in the space between cases and across the open bottom of the second case to substantially encapsulate the switch. An annular bead of hardened epoxy seals the exposed, projecting, handle housing at its base in its aperture in the second case to complete the seal.
