  • Publication number: 20090104860
Abstract: A portable power tool having a housing (12) and a tool (70), in particular a cutting tool, which is arranged thereon in such a way that it can be driven in a rotary and/or oscillating manner and which can be operated as prescribed by means of a suction-air flow, in particular with a dust extractor, is made especially robust and insensitive to clogging by chips by virtue of the fact that a turbine (36) having a rotatable turbine wheel (38) and a fixed turbine casing (60) serves as drive, wherein means (101) for the frictionless discharge/ejection of dust and chips that have entered the power tool inadvertently are arranged between the turbine wheel (38) and the turbine casing (60).

  • Patent number: 7219587
Abstract: A hand-guided power jigsaw (10) with a jigsaw blade (33) which can be detachably clamped between the free ends of two essentially parallel arms (122, 222) preferably comprised of a U-shaped frame (22), in particular comprised of a tube, and which can be driven, in particular in a reciprocating manner, by a motor (11) integrated into the jigsaw (10), wherein a laterally protruding handle (13) with a switch button (15) of an on/off switch is disposed at the free end of one of the arms (221, 222), can be manufactured as lightweight, compact, and inexpensive because the lower arm (122) carries the motor (11) and transmission mechanism (114, 115, 116, 119, 67) for moving the saw blade (33) back and forth, particularly in a base housing (12), wherein a motor shaft (1103) with a crankshaft (116) is coupled parallel to the arm (221) and is coupled by means of a connecting rod (67) to an elastic support (51, 57) in order to clamp the jigsaw blade (33) in place.

  • Patent number: 6658979
Abstract: A hand-guided power jigsaw (10) having a jigsaw blade (33) which can be detachably clamped between the free ends (53, 54) of two essentially parallel-arms (221, 222) that are preferably comprised of a U-shaped frame (22), in particular comprised of a tube, and which can be driven, in particular in a reciprocating manner, by a motor built into the jigsaw (10), wherein a laterally protruding handle (13) with a switch button (15) is disposed on the front of the free end of one of the arms (221, 222), is particularly maneuverable and easy to produce since the lower arm (221) has a, base housing (12) attached to it, which is embodied in the form of a pistol and protruding obliquely back and down from underneath the housing (12), has a handle (13) whose rear contour toward the base housing (12) forms a curved, angled throat (14), which rests in the hand of the user in a horizontally and vertically supported fashion.

  • Patent number: 6467176
Abstract: A handheld power fret saw (10) having a power fret saw blade (33), which can be clamped releasably between two arms (122, 222), on their ends, that are preferably formed of a U-shaped bracket (22) comprising tubing, the end of one of the arms (221, 222) carrying a handgrip (13), is used especially universally with high precision because the power fret saw (10) can be clipped releasably, in particular in the manner of a bayonet mount, to a sawing table (37), and together with the sawing table (37) the power fret saw (10) forms a portable handheld power tool, which when the sawing table (37) is secured to a workbench or the like serves as a stationary tool.

  • Patent number: 6129618
Abstract: An oscillating sander includes a housing and a tool holder which receives a sanding plate and sits via a rotary bearing on a rotating eccentric stem that projects from the housing and is attached flexibly against rotary entrainment on the housing by way of at least one oscillating, element. The oscillating is assembled from two hard-elastic rings, one outer ring and one inner ring, made in particular of plastic and arranged spaced apart from one another and in particular concentrically, which are coupled to one another, with minimally limited radial displaceability with respect to one another and with limited rotatability with respect to one another, via an elastic spacer element, the spacer element being made of soft plastic equipped with openings.

  • Patent number: 4557305
Abstract: A cutter block for a motor driven hand planer includes a roller body which is composed of two profiled bodies of equal cross section. The two profiled bodies cooperate with each other to grip a planing knife therebetween. Between the profiled bodies and a supporting shaft, centering spring elements are provided in respective recesses of the shaft. For tightening the profiled body and gripping of the interposed planing knives, shank screws are used which extend through the roller body. Perpendicular to the shank screws and parallel to the gripping surfaces of the profiled bodies are adjusting screws for transverse movement of the profiled bodies relative to each other and with respect to the shaft. Consequently, the position of the planing knife is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 4555850
Abstract: A hand plane, especially a hand plane machine, is provided with an adjusting and indicating arrangement for the planing depth. A wedge which is located before the tool element of the hand plane machine is adjustably fixed to an inclined base surface of the housing and constitutes the contact surface of the hand plane machine. A part of the wedge projects beyond the forward edge of the housing and is provided at its upper side with a scale. By means of the housing edge, the displacment of the wedge and consequently the adjustment of the planing depth can be read from the scale. The hand plane is of simple structure and good stability with respect to the adjustment, wherein the wedge can be fastened to the housing for example through screwing.
