  • Publication number: 20070148062
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for the parallel study of chemical reactions in at least two spatially separated reaction spaces. In particular, the invention is suitable for reactions which are not constant volume reactions and/or for reactions in which fluid flows through at least two spatially separated reaction spaces are intended to be controlled together for all the reaction spaces, or for related subsets of them, in the most straightforward way possible.

  • Patent number: 7202088
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement, in particular for the parallel testing of a plurality of building blocks of a material library for performance characteristics, in which the arrangement has a block containing at least one reaction module and at least two heating/cooling modules.

  • Publication number: 20060182667
Abstract: The present invention is in the field of the high-throughput research for liquid and multi-phase reactions. Thereby, the invention relates to a process for the simultaneous realization of at least one chemical reaction in at least two separate reaction vessels (10), wherein said process comprises at least the following steps: (i) providing at least one reaction mixture per reaction vessel (10); to (ii) pneumatic agitation of the reaction mixture in at least one reaction vessel by means of bringing the reaction mixture into contact with at least one fluid phase (18), wherein the at least one chemical reaction is carried out in at least one of the reaction vessels (10) in the batch mode and the reaction mixture contains at least one liquid phase (14). Thereby, the fluid phase (18) is supplied to the at least one reaction vessel (10) within a defined period and is at least partially discharged from the reaction vessel.

  • Publication number: 20050239645
Abstract: The invention relates to materials which are stable at high temperatures and which have high specific surfaces. Said materials are produced by heating them to a temperature in a matrix above the later temperature at which they are used, e.g. aluminum oxide or zirconium oxide. The temperature of the specific surfaces thereof, after relatively long tempering, is 1100° C. or 1000° C., even above 50 m2/g or 10 m2/g. Carrier catalysts can be also be produced according to said method.

  • Publication number: 20050161845
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing and shaping shaped bodies, in particular heterogeneous catalysts, by means of low-temperature cooling processes, characterized in that a settable and flowable composition, preferably inorganic in nature, for example, a suspension of solids, is introduced as droplets of the desired shape and size into a low-temperature coolant and the frozen droplets are then converted by means of drying and/or calcination processes into the corresponding mechanically stable, solid shaped bodies. The present invention further relates to the shaped body itself which is obtainable by the processes of the invention and the use of the process of the invention for producing and shaping shaped bodies.
