Abstract: A system for attachment to a child's crib combining a side rail and a ramp structure that serve to prevent the child from rolling out during sleep, and at the same time provide a means for the child to climb or crawl into or out from the crib. Components include a side rail fixed to the crib at each end by removable straps or the like, and rigidly connected to a pair of legs that slide between the mattress and box spring of the crib. A generally larger ramp component extends pivotally outward and downward from the side rail component to a point in contact with the floor. Embodiments include multiple hinged components within the ramp system to allow alternate positioning of the ramp (in whole or in parts) in an extended or a collapsed configuration.

Abstract: An improved jogging stroller with at least one castered front wheel that in one configuration is allowed to freely rotate side-to-side and in a second configuration is fixed in a forward direction. A spring-loaded pin is positioned to engage or disengage an indexed aperture so as to release or fix the motion of the castered wheel. The pin is remotely activated by a hand release mechanism positioned on or near the handle of the jogging stroller and is connected to the castered wheel by means of a control cable. The user may alternate between a freely moving caster wheel that facilitates steering and a fixing of the front caster wheel for more stability. The user may lock the system in either the fixed (in-line) configuration or in the freely rotating configuration.
