  • Publication number: 20200361581
Abstract: The subject invention is a design of marine cargo vessel with added mechanical equipment specifically designed to minimize dangerous motions of the vessel induced by high waves while the vessel is being loaded or unloaded from fixed platforms (bottom supported or tension leg) at sea or on inland waters. The vessel uses three means of reduction of such induced motions, which have not before been combined for this purpose. These are a small water plane area multiple hull design, rapid ballasting while loading and unloading, and vertical thrusters.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 17, 2019
    Publication date: November 19, 2020

  • Publication number: 20120205082
Abstract: A shell and tube heat exchanger (which can be a boiler) which includes a plenum chamber defined by at least one of the tube-sheets and a diaphragm plate. In this plenum chamber a system of outer and inner annuli around each of the tubes created by a system of baffle tubes that surround each fluid tube and a holes in the thick tube-sheet of the exchanger. This arrangement allows the high pressure cooling fluid in the shell to keep the high temperature low pressure fluid tube inlet, and the associated tube-sheet cool under very high hot fluid flow rates at lower cost, smaller footprint and with lower pressure loss of the low pressure hot fluid than previous art.

  • Publication number: 20040044149
Abstract: The invention concerns a chromium complex corresponding to formula (I) wherein: each X is, independently, selected from the group of halogen, alkoxide, aryloxide, amide, phosphide, hydride, hydrocarbyl or substituted hydrocarbyl; each L is, independently, a neutral elecron donor group which stabilizes the complex; n is 2 or 3; p is a number from 0 to 3; R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are, independently, hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl; R6 and R7 are, independently, substituted ary groups; and its use for the polymerization of alpha-olefins.
