  • Publication number: 20050100507
Abstract: Radiopharmaceuticals comprising molecules that target to N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLF) receptor on leukocytes in order to target sites of inflammation for diagnostic imaging are described. The targeting molecules are attached to capping groups that make the entire molecule either antagonists or weak agonists of fMLF receptor and therefore do not elicit a chemotactic response resulting in neutropenia. The preferred targeting molecule is ReO-Gly-lys(Dimethylgly-t-Butylgly-cys-gly)-glu-trp-phe-leu-nle-NHCOcyclopropyl. The invention also relates to the use of combinatorial chemistry to obtain preferred molecules that target sites of inflammation for diagnostic imaging.

The invention also relates to the use of combinatorial chemistry to obtain preferred molecules that target sites of inflammation for diagnostic imaging.

  • Patent number: 5574140
Abstract: Radionuclide chelating compounds are provided for conjugation to targetting molecules such as proteins, peptides or antibodies. The resulting labelled targetting molecules may be used in diagnosis and therapy.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 14, 1994
Date of Patent: November 12, 1996
    Assignee: Resolution Pharmaceutical Inc.
Inventors: Alfred Pollack, Robert A. Kirby, Robert Dufault
  • Patent number: 4806831
Abstract: A coil arrangement with three windings arranged coaxially, where the outer coils are connected in series. The inductances of the outer coils are of equal magnitude and their magnetic fields have opposing polarities. The center winding induces currents in the series circuit of the outer windings which cancel each other out. The outer windings with their stray inductances form a coil which is separated from the center one and can be applied for other purposes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 15, 1987
Date of Patent: February 21, 1989
    Assignee: TELEFUNKEN Fernseh und Rundfunk
    Inventors: Walter Goseberg, Alfred Pollack
