Abstract: The invention relates to a hand-held device for the dosed distribution of sprayable substances, especially medicaments to be inhaled, said device comprising a cartridge that can be displaced into the distribution-opening position by means of pressure in a housing, and a feeding mechanism moved by the opening course of the cartridge and used to register and display the distribution actuation carried out. Said feeding mechanism is arranged in the centre of a housing below the front wall of the cartridge, on the opening side, overlapping the cartridge valve tube. The aim of the invention is to provide one such hand-held device in a spatially favourable manner, with more reliability in terms of handling, and a simplified structure. To this end, a stepped feeding mechanism arranged in a plate-shaped housing is provided with control elements which rotate about the axis located in the longitudinal direction of the cartridge.

Abstract: The invention relates to a step-by-step mechanism, particularly for hand-held devices for the portioned delivery of medicaments to be inhaled, comprising a graduated collar, which can be moved during an actuation stroke and which encircles the center axis of the housing. In order to provide a step-by-step mechanism of the aforementioned type with a more reliable operation while, in a spatially advantageous manner, having a simplified design, the invention provides that the switching finger(s) are permitted to slope upward from a hub located in the center.

Abstract: A hand-lever-actuatable pump for spraying liquids comprising a pump piston which is displacable linearly counter to force of a compression spring in a pump cylinder in a housing, for spraying a liquid out of a mouthpiece nozzle, the pump piston being coupled to a hand-lever via a connecting pull member such that pivoting movement of the hand-lever pulls the pump piston in direction of liquid moving toward the mouthpiece nozzle. Starting from a rear side of the pump piston, the connecting pull member extends parallel to the pump piston displacement path in direction of the mouthpiece nozzle. On the rear side of the pump piston there is a hook-in slot which is located in direction of the pump piston displacement path, is open in direction of compressive force of a compression spring and is for a drive crosspiece of the connecting member.
