    Abstract: An apparatus and method for pulverizing asphalt on roadways and similar applications. The asphalt is pulverized by a rotating drum with removable cutting tips which engage a soften underside of the roadway prior to engaging a harder more compact top surface of the roadway. The apparatus designed for receiving and rotating various widths of drums and adaptable for moving the drum along the width of a mobile piece of equipment supporting the apparatus and adjacent a curb and gutter of a roadway.
