  • Publication number: 20220360593
Abstract: A method for execution by a computing entity of a data transactional network includes generating a plurality of risk analysis responses regarding a transaction for fraud evaluation, where the transaction is between a first computing device and a second computing device regarding transactional subject matter. The method further includes performing a first level interpretation of the plurality of risk analysis responses to produce a first level fraud answer. The method further includes determining a confidence of the first level fraud answer compares unfavorably with a confidence threshold. The method further includes determining a second level interpretation of the plurality of risk analysis responses based on a level of the confidence of the first level fraud answer. The method further includes performing the second level interpretation of the plurality of risk analysis responses to produce a fraud evaluation answer regarding the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20220191219
Abstract: A method includes selecting, for evaluation, an entry regarding a transaction from a current transaction-answer (TA) matrix that includes a prediction field for the entry. The method further includes determining whether the prediction field associated with the entry includes an indication that a predicted fraud answer for the transaction is favorable. When unfavorable, the method further includes obtaining inputted data utilized by a fraud assessment model that includes a plurality of artificial intelligence (AI) modules, obtaining additional data regarding the transaction, augmenting the inputted data with the additional data to produce updated data, utilizing the updated data to produce an updated fraud evaluation answer, and determining whether the updated fraud evaluation answer is favorable.

  • Patent number: 11218494
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a computing entity, a transaction for fraud evaluation. The method further includes generating, by the computing entity, evidence vectors regarding the transaction, wherein an evidence vector is a piece of information regarding a topic, or portion thereof, of a list of topics. The method further includes engaging, by the computing entity, tools to generate risk analysis responses based on the evidence vectors. The method further includes discarding, by the computing entity, indeterminate responses of the risk analysis responses to produce a group of risk analysis responses. The method further includes interpreting, by the computing entity, the group of risk analysis responses to produce a fraud evaluation answer of low risk of fraud, high risk of fraud, or further analysis is required.

  • Publication number: 20080242219
Abstract: This invention will protect creatures in buildings from deadly carbon monoxide gases emitted from various devices such as home heating systems, hot water heaters, leaky chimneys, stoves, cooking grilles and automobiles. It is designed to automatically remove carbon monoxide from buildings when dangerous levels have been detected. It will work independently or in conjunction with other carbon monoxide detection systems. For example: If an automobile has been intentionally, unintentionally or unsuspectedly started in an attached garage; the system will receive a message indicating the dangerous level of carbon monoxide, and automatically begin exhausting the carbon monoxide from the building, while supplying fresh air from outside. The system will not stop exhausting until reset, and would work in conjunction with alarms. For owner unoccupied buildings, pets would be spared harm from carbon monoxide gases. This system can be independently installed, or integrated within the building ventilation system.

  • Publication number: 20070105665
Abstract: The present invention is a game and table for playing table tennis with six players simultaneously. Each side of the table includes a pair of lobes formed by angled edges, having arcuate edges and being arranged on either side of a central region that defines a playing surface upon which a central player or center plays. Wingmen stand behind the arcuate edges and play on either side of the center.

  • Publication number: 20040084226
Abstract: My invention is unique in that there is currently no device currently incorporated in automobiles, trains, planes, trucks, or vessels that automatically or manually provides occupants and/or cargo weight to the person(s) requiring such information. My invention incorporates a weighing system (digital or analog), in a transportation vehicle or vessel, that automatically or manually provides occupant(s) and/or cargo weight to the person(s) requiring such information for safety, law enforcement, personal, or any other use. For example: A manufactured Pick-up truck would offer the option of the owner(s) to automatically and/or manually, determine the weight of cargo and/or occupants, through digital and/or analog interpretation.

  • Patent number: 3988932
Abstract: An oil slick sampling apparatus and method wherein a substantially annular hoop-like frame adapted to float on water and surround the slick, has an inner annular surface coacted with a surface active material which functions by spreading to compress the area of the oil slick. According to one embodiment the frame is hollow and has one or more openings to collect the oil slick as it is compressed by the inwardly spreading area of the surface active coating; according to a second embodiment the frame is impervious and the slick is compressed by the surface active material inwardly toward a central area thereof whereat suitable collecting means is located to collect the oil slick for further analysis.
