  • Patent number: 4263642
Abstract: A DC to DC converter having an input, an output, and a transformer coupling the input to the output. The converter includes circuit elements in the circuitry connected to the primary winding of the transformer which tune that circuitry to resonate at a first frequency and at the third harmonic of the first frequency so that the current which flows in the primary winding comprises alternating basically square wave pulses.
