  • Patent number: 8113459
Abstract: An aircraft comprising an elongated framework provided with propelling means and direction-control planes. The framework is coupled to a pneumatic chamber suited to be filled with lighter-than-air gas and comprising two tubular branches joined to form a V-shaped profile, with an aerodinamic-lift surface extending therebetween.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 7, 2005
Date of Patent: February 14, 2012
    Assignee: Nimbus S.R.L.
    Inventor: Alfredo Capuani
  • Publication number: 20090108126
Abstract: The aircraft (10) comprises an elongated framework (26) provided with propelling means and direction-control planes. The framework is coupled to a pneumatic chamber (16) suited to be filled with lighter-than-air gas and comprising two tubular branches (12, 14) joined to form a V-shaped profile, with an aerodinamic-lift surface (22, 24) extending therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4969614
Abstract: In a jet-propelled aircraft of the type in which the propulsion jets are directed onto a wing so as to achieve an ejector effect, two vertical tail-fin surfaces are provided and extend downwardly beneath the center of gravity of the aircraft to return the aircraft to a correct attitude when it tends to move sideways relative to the direction of flight.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 19, 1990
Date of Patent: November 13, 1990
Assignee: Aeritalia - Societe Aerospaziale Italiana - S.p.A.

  • Patent number: 4478378
Abstract: A jet propelled aircraft of the kind in which propulsion jets are directed over the top surface of the wing so as to cause additional lift as a result of the supercirculation induced on the wing and the deflection of the jets downwards, due to the Coanda effect, immediately downstream of the wing is provided with two longitudinal surfaces projecting from said top surface so as to form a single surface ejector system. The wing of the aircraft has a fixed front part which occupies a minor portion of the wing chord, and a movable rear portion which is articulated to the fixed portion about a substantially transverse axis and can be inclined downwards relative to the fixed part. The portion of the wing between the two longitudinal surfaces may be provided on its trailing edge with a movable attitude control surface of the aircraft.
