  • Publication number: 20240060048
Abstract: Method for promoting anti-inflammatory properties and for improving the repair ability of a tissue containing mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) wherein it comprises at least one step of mechanical activation performed by applying an orbital shaking force on an adipose tissue lipoaspirated or removed from the body.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 23, 2023
    Publication date: February 22, 2024
    Inventor: Alfredo Gorio
  • Publication number: 20220177837
Abstract: A method for culturing cells on a substrate capable of inducing pluripotency is provided. The method includes plating cells on a nichoid-type substrate, allowing cultured cells to proliferate for a certain period of time, detaching cells from the nichoid-type substrate, and, once cells have been detached, culturing cells in suspension or under adhesion.

  • Publication number: 20030100505
Abstract: Compositions and methods useful in therapy for IGF-I-responsive conditions in a mammal are provided. The method comprises concurrent therapy with both IGF-I or a variant thereof and at least one GAG to promote a desired therapeutic response with respect to a particular IGF-I-responsive condition. Concurrent therapy is achieved by administering to a mammal a single pharmaceutical composition containing both IGF-I (or a variant thereof) and at least one GAG according to a dosing regimen. Alternatively, IGF-I or a variant thereof and at least one GAG can be administered as two separate pharmaceutical compositions. A pharmaceutical composition comprising IGF-I or a variant thereof and at least one GAG for use in the IGF-I and GAG therapy is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5116873
Abstract: Oral or parenteral administration of thyroid hormone T.sub.4 (from 0.5 to 2 .mu.g/100 g of body weight) stimulates, normalizes dopaminergic innervation in the corpus striatum (striate body), and restores neurochemical compensation following denervation of selective brain areas, thereby increasing neuronal plasticity.
