  • Publication number: 20150033576
Abstract: The present invention describes a de-energizing electrical safety circuit for appliances, in particular dryer machines wherein said circuit controls power supplied from a power source, via a power cord comprising a neutral line and at least one live input line connected to a neutral line and at least one charge powered line, respectively. The de-energizing electrical safety circuit comprises at least one normally open thermostat connected to two switches corresponding to a neutral line and a charge powered line; at least one thermostat is mounted within the cabinet external to the drum. The excess heat in the cabinet closes at least one thermostat thus closing the circuit and allowing the power to flow between the neutral line and the charge powered line causing a short circuit in at least one thermostat and then opening the switches and thereby achieving a complete de-energizing of the dryer machine.

  • Patent number: 6573512
Abstract: A device for non-destructive analysis of plants includes a unit transmitting a calibrated excitation laser beam, a unit measuring and imaging the fluorescence emitted by the irradiated plant(s) and a unit for digitally processing, storing and editing or displaying the collected images. The transmitting unit provides at least two different laser excitation wavelengths simultaneously and the measuring and imaging unit includes a unit for forming, from a common fluorescence beam emitted by the plant(s), simultaneously or successively, at least two secondary beams, each having its own wavelength and each constituting a fluorescence image at a matrix sensor, over the whole surface thereof or over part of the surface thereof, each image being separate for each secondary beam.

  • Patent number: 6393315
Abstract: A method for detecting and mapping inflamed zones in living tissues and a device for implementing the method. The method includes subjecting the tissues to be analyzed to a luminous excitation with a predetermined spectral domain, acquiring at least the raw fluorescence signal of the porphyrins for a plurality of measurement points, and in determining, for each measurement point, the intensity of the fluorescence for the wavelengths characteristic of endogenous porphyrins.
