A user watching content on a display device may use a device, such as a mobile device, to select a portion of the content to share. An interface on the display device or the mobile device may be used to select the portion of the content to share, to edit the selected portion, and to comment on the selected portion, among other editing features. The mobile device may send information identifying the selected portion to a server, and the server may generate one or more playlists for the selected portion. The one or more playlists may be generated based on the information received from the mobile device and based on one or more playlists for the content provided by a network, such as a content delivery network. The one or more playlists may be sent to the device of another user and may be used to access the shared content portion.

The 2D content may be displayed at the display location based on the received information and the location information, wherein the display location corresponds to a 2D display rendered within the VR presentation.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method is provided. The method includes using a processor to receive identification information and a desired language. The identification information is utilized to uniquely identify a text file from a database, where the text file includes a first set of captions associated with digital content. The method includes using a processor to translate the first set of captions of the text file into the desired language utilizing a machine translation service and at least one human translator. The method includes using a processor to generate a translated text file comprising a second set of captions in the desired language and output the translated text file to a media viewing device for synchronous display with the digital content.
