  • Publication number: 20210400635
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include methods for receiving device-to-device (D2D) data transmissions from a second user equipment (UE) in a radio access network (RAN). Embodiments can include receiving, from the second UE, a first data transmission. Embodiments can also include determining whether the first data transmission was correctly received. Embodiments can also include determining a first set of frequency-domain parameters to use for generating a time-domain sequence. In some embodiments, the set of frequency-domain parameters can comprise a basic frequency-domain sequence, a width (X), and an offset (Y). Exemplary embodiments can also include transmitting, to the second UE using a time-domain sequence generated from the first set of frequency-domain parameters, a first hybrid ARQ (HARQ) indicator of whether the first data transmission was correctly received.

  • Patent number: 11184115
Abstract: A wireless device, network node and a method for managing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process for grant-free uplink access. The method includes transmitting data to a network node during a first time slot corresponding to a first PID according to a first mapping. The method further includes receiving a HARQ feedback signal indicating one of an acknowledgement, ACK, and a non-acknowledgement, NACK, associated with the first PID. When a NACK is received, an indication of a second time slot for a retransmission is received. The data corresponding to the first PID is retransmitted during the second time slot.

  • Publication number: 20210345363
Abstract: A method is disclosed for operating a user equipment (UE) for device-to-device (D2D) communications. The method includes receiving booking information from another UE. The booking information identifying a resource that the other UE is booking to use for transmission by the other UE and further including priority information. The method further includes selectively transmitting preemption signaling based on whether the received priority information indicates lower priority than local priority information that is associated with a transmission to be scheduled by the UE. The preemption signaling indicates preemption of the UE to use the resource identified by the booking information. The method further includes scheduling the UE to transmit using the resource identified by the booking information.

  • Publication number: 20210184797
Abstract: A transmitting node determines data for a first service will be transmitted during a time period when data for a second service will be transmitted. The data for the first service requires lower latency than the data for the second service and the data for the first service includes an original set of data for the first service and at least one repetition of the original set of data for the first service. The transmitting node adjusts resources consumed by the data for the first service based on available transmission resources.
