  • Publication number: 20180197565
Abstract: The disclosed system and methods provide real-time information about how agents and customers sound as they are speaking, allowing a supervisor to continuously monitor how agents are doing. The system allows agents to visualize their own speech behavior performance during and after a conversation while viewing important comparative information about prior conversations, and gamifies conversations in real-time by providing visual comparison between the live conversations and various target metrics. The visualization in-turn enhances agent interactive skills such as active listening and mirroring, as well as decision-making skills based on observations of customer engagement and distress levels.

  • Publication number: 20170257481
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing and analyzing multi-party dialogs (e.g., call) between communication devices. A digital connection is established with each of a plurality of communication devices. The connection is switched between the communication devices from a POTS connection to digital connections, enabling the communication devices to communicate with each other via the computing device over the digital connections. Audio signals are part of a multi-party dialog between users of the plurality of communication devices. The received audio signals are split into corresponding first signals and second signals. The first signals are transmitted to the plurality of communication devices and are analyzed to produce measurements of features of the second signals. Feedback data is transmitted to at least one of the plurality of communication devices.

  • Publication number: 20170076740
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for analyzing voice-based audio inputs. A voice-based audio input associated with a user (e.g., wherein the voice-based audio input is a prompt or a command) is received and measures of one or more features are extracted. One or more parameters are calculated based on the measures of the one or more features. The occurrence of one or more mistriggers is identified by inputting the one or more parameters into a predictive model. Further, systems and methods are provided for identifying human mental health states using mobile device data. Mobile device data (including sensor data) associated with a mobile device corresponding to a user is received. Measurements are derived from the mobile device data and input into a predictive model. The predictive model is executed and outputs probability values of one or more symptoms associated with the user.

  • Publication number: 20150348570
Abstract: In some example embodiments, a system is provided for real-time analysis of audio signals. First digital audio signals are retrieved from memory. First computed streamed signal information corresponding to each of the first digital audio signals is generated by computing first metrics data for the first digital audio signals, the first computed streamed signal information including the first metrics data. The computed first streamed signal information is stored in the memory. The first computed streamed signal information is transmitted to one or more computing devices. Transmitting the first computed streamed signal information to the one or more computing devices causes the first computed streamed signal information to be displayed at the one or more computing devices.

  • Patent number: 7415385
Abstract: A computer implemented method measures a performance of surveillance system. A site model, a sensor model and a traffic model are selected respectively from a set of site models, a set of sensor models, and a set of traffic models to form a surveillance model. Based on the surveillance model surveillance signals are generated. Performance of the surveillance system is evaluated according to qualitative surveillance goals and the surveillance signals to determine a value of a quantitative performance metric of the surveillance system.

  • Patent number: 7372393
Abstract: A method converts an input image of noisy wrapped phases to an output image of absolute unwrapped phases. The noisy wrapped phases in the input image are represented as a set of re-wrapped phases and a set of phase shifts. The set of re-wrapped phases are partitioned into a first group and a second group. Integer differences between the phase shifts are optimized while holding the re-wrapped phases fixed. Then, the first group of re-wrapped phases are optimized, while holding the integer differences between the phase shifts, and the second group of re-wrapped phases fixed. The integer differences between the phase shifts are optimized again, while holding the re-wrapped phases fixed. Then, the second group of re-wrapped phases are optimized, while holding the integer differences between the phase shifts, and the first group of re-wrapped phases fixed. The optimizing steps are repeated until the re-wrapped phase converge.

  • Publication number: 20060284971
Abstract: A method and apparatus acquires images of a scene with an omni-directional imager and a pan-tilt-zoom imager. A relationship between pixels in the input image and locations in the scene is expressed in terms of polar coordinates. An event is detected in the input images and the omni-directional pan-tilt-zoom camera is directed at the event in the scene using the relationship expressed in the polar coordinates.

  • Publication number: 20060238618
Abstract: A surveillance system detects events in an environment. The system includes a camera arranged in the environment, and multiple context sensors arranged in the environment. The sensors are configured to detect events in the environment. A processor is coupled to the camera and the context sensors via a network. The processor provides the camera with actions based only on the events detected by the context sensors. The actions cause the camera to view the detected events.

  • Patent number: 5511153
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating three-dimensional, textured computer models from a series of video images of an object is disclosed. The invention operates by tracking a selected group of object features through a series of image frames and, based on changes in their relative positions, estimates parameters specifying camera focal length, translation and rotation, and the positions of the tracked features in the camera reference frame. After segmentation of the images into two-dimensional bounded regions that each correspond to a discrete surface component of the actual object, the texture contained in the various video frames is applied to these regions to produce a final three-dimensional model that is both geometrically and photometrically specified.
