    Abstract: According to some embodiments, a user equipment (UE) and a method in the UE are disclosed. The UE is served by a cell managed or served by a network node. The UE comprises processing circuitry, a transceiver coupled to the processing circuitry, and memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry. The UE is operative to determine that a center frequency of a radio frequency (RF) reception bandwidth of the UE is different than a center frequency of a RF transmission bandwidth of the cell serving the UE. The UE is further operative to receive a signal from the cell serving the UE over a center subcarrier within the RF reception bandwidth of the UE, and puncture a portion of the signal received over the center subcarrier within the RF reception bandwidth of the UE.

    Abstract: A method in a UE for adapting a measurement procedure is provided. The UE obtains information about signal configurations that indicate whether or not a Downlink Reference Signal (DL RS) transmitted in neighbor cells on a first carrier frequency of a first carrier uses a first signal configuration or a second signal configuration. The first signal configuration comprises the DL RS not being transmitted in every subframe of a cell and the second signal configuration comprises the DL RS being transmitted in every subframe of a cell. The UE receives a DL RS in a serving cell of the UE on the first carrier frequency that uses the second signal configuration. The UE adapts the measurement procedure based on the obtained information by adapting a measurement sampling or an instance when the UE shall obtain samples for one or more types of radio measurements.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for reducing latency of periodic URLLC transmission and other critical data transmission with low latency requirements. To support periodic URLLC traffic, SPS with repetition is used. Before synchronization is achieved, the base station sends to the UE an SPS configuration for a periodic uplink data transmission. When the starting time of the data transmission is not known, the base station over-provisions SPS resources for the periodic data transmission. Based on the timing of the data transmissions, the base station adjusts the timing of the SPS configuration.
