  • Patent number: 11338852
Abstract: A method of maneuvering a vehicle-trailer assembly in reverse travel with a backing system includes: initiating a backing mode for the backing system; determining a current relative position representing a relative angle between the vehicle and the trailer; retrieving an operator proficiency setting selected by an operator; determining a maximum allowable relevant position for the current trailer based on the selected operator proficiency setting and the current trailer calibration data; receiving a position adjustment request via an input device; determining a new relative position request based upon the position adjustment request and the selected operator proficiency setting; comparing the new relative position request to the maximum allowed relative position setting to determine if the new relative position is below the maximum allowed relative position setting; setting a new relative position to the new relative position request when the new relative position request is within the maximum allowed relativ

  • Patent number: 10730490
Abstract: A failure detection and correction function which is able to detect a failure of an automatic braking system, and provide a corrected action. The failure detection and correction function is independent of the automatic braking function. The failure detection and correction function uses object coordinates and the speed of the vehicle to determine the collision risk, and then calculates a desired deceleration if there is imminent collision. The function uses desired deceleration to compare to a deceleration request from automatic braking function to determine if there is a failure. The failure detection and correction function takes corrected action to avoid the collision if the automatic braking function has failed.

  • Publication number: 20140065122
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for eliminating a biofilm of microorganism preexisting on an inert surface, characterized in that one subjects said biofilm to a cocktail of microorganisms comprising at least strains said to be “swimming” able to cross said biofilm in the plane and in the thickness, and one subjects said biofilm to at least one antimicrobial product directed against at least one microorganism of the biofilm to be eliminated.
