  • Publication number: 20240065554
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for performing skin analysis using smart mirror systems. In one example, a plurality of RGB images are acquired via an RGB camera integrated with a smart mirror. Using the RGB images as input, multiple skin key performance indicators (KPIs, also referred to as skin features) including sebum porphyrin, redness, acne, eczema, rosacea, UV spots, brown spots, eye bags, scars are classified and/or quantified. In particular, computer vision algorithms are used in order to detect tone changes within the user's skin, and segment the various skin features. Thus, the systems and methods describes herein are robust in adapting to different skin colors, tones, and/or hues.

  • Publication number: 20240057746
Abstract: A system comprises a frame, a mirror coupled to the frame, an electronic display device coupled to the frame, a camera coupled to the frame, one or more processors, and one or more memory devices. The one or more processors are configured to execute instructions that are stored in the one or more memory devices. The one or more processors executing the instructions causes the system to continuously display, on the electronic display device, a real-time video feed of a user within a field of view of the camera; identify and object within the field of view of the camera; and, subsequent to the identification, modify the continuously displayed real-time video feed based on at least the identified object.

  • Patent number: 11533453
Abstract: A system comprising a mirror having a first side and second side, the mirror permitting a first portion of light incident on the first side to transmit therethrough and permitting a second portion of the incident light to reflect therefrom; an electronic display positioned adjacent to the second side of the mirror such that the electronic display is at least partially visible through the first side of the mirror responsive to the electronic display being at least partially activated; one or more sensors positioned generally about a periphery of the mirror configured to detect a presence and relative location of an object positioned adjacent to the first side of the mirror; a light source configured to emit light and at least partially aid in illuminating the object responsive to the object being adjacent to the first side of the mirror; and a camera configured to detect the object.
