  • Publication number: 20250048202
Abstract: Embodiments include methods for user equipment (UE) to provide successful handover reports to a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving, from the RAN, a configuration for successful handover reporting (SHR) by the UE. The SHR configuration includes a single supervision timer threshold that is associated with all measurement objects configured for the UE. Such methods include, upon transmitting to the RAN a measurement report associated with a first one of the measurement objects, initiating a supervision timer based on an initial time value associated with the first measurement object. Such methods include, based on receiving from the RAN a handover command to a target cell, determining whether time elapsed from the supervision timer exceeds the supervision timer threshold included in the SHR configuration and transmitting a successful handover report to the RAN based on determining that the time elapsed exceeds the supervision timer threshold.

  • Patent number: 12207076
Abstract: Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment (UE), for reporting radio link failure (RLF) in a cell of a wireless network. Such methods include performing measurements of a plurality of cells, which can include a serving cell and multiple neighbor cells. The measurements for each cell are based on one or more types of reference signals (RS) transmitted in the particular cell and include one or more measurement quantities. Such methods include determining that an RLF occurred in the serving cell and sorting the neighbor cell measurements into one or more measurement lists based on one or more sorting criteria, which can be related to the RS types on which the measurements for the respective neighbor cells are based and/or the measurement quantities available for the respective neighbor cells. Such methods include transmitting, to a network node, an RLF report including the one or more measurement lists.

  • Publication number: 20250008335
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for coordinating resources among neighbouring network nodes and cells in a telecommunications network. Neighbouring cells or nodes may experience conflicts, such as co-channel interference. To enable coordination among nodes or cells it has been required to establish a full-fledge cell to cell relation with a network interface. This can be cost and resource intensive, even if most features over the interface remain unused. Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling resource coordination without incurring a full-fledged relation between cells, allowing for more efficient use of resources.
