  • Publication number: 20240276387
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for uplink, UL, power control performed by a network node (130) of a wireless communication network (100). The method comprises determining, for a User Equipment, UE, a UE-specific Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio, SINR, link adaption target, SINRLA, based on UE-specific Quality of Service, QoS, information for the UE, determining a power target, P0, for the UE, based on the UE-specific SINRLA, and on an estimated interference for UL signals at the network node, and sending information on the determined P0 to the UE, so that the UE can transmit packets in UL with a transmission power based on the determined P0.

  • Publication number: 20230089213
Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for radio link adaptation at a transmit and receive point. A method is performed by a network node. The method includes obtaining LLR values for a block of codewords. The LLR values are output from an information decoder decoding the block of codewords. The block of codewords has been communicated over a radio link between the transmit and receive point and a terminal device. The method includes performing radio link adaptation of the radio link depending on the LLR values by selecting radio link adaptation parameter values. Which radio link adaptation parameter values to select depends on the LLR values.

  • Patent number: 10820309
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling devices capable of device-to-device communication are disclosed. A network node determines at least two resource allocations for device-to-device communication between the devices. Information about the at least two resource allocations is then communicated to at least one of the devices for device-to-device communication. The device can then communicate with another device capable of device-to-device communication using one of the at least two resource allocations.

  • Publication number: 20170188410
Abstract: The invention is in relation to a method initiating a device discovery process communications between user terminals capable of communicating on device-to-device and cellular communications links in the cellular communications network; determining a first parameter indicating interference of transmissions from a first user terminal on a device-to-device communications link to a second user terminal; determining a second parameter indicating interference of transmissions from the first user terminal on a cellular communications link; applying, on the basis of the first parameter exceeding the second parameter, asymmetric communications between the user terminals such that transmissions from the first user terminal to the second user terminal are communicated over the cellular communications links via infrastructure of the cellular communications network and transmissions from the second user terminal to the first user terminal are communicated over the device-to-device communications link.
