    Abstract: To obtain better cosmetic results after surgical operations and to reduce scarring and eliminate the infection risks of suturing holes, a spring actuated clamp (1) having compression surfaces (5') with flat or rounded protuberant parts (7) is provided. The surgical clamp prevents perforations of the skin and at the same time provides for a good securing of the clamp to the skin.
