    Abstract: A marine flexible laminate system at a minimum includes a primer layer and an adhesive layer. The system optionally includes at least one functional top coating layer which may be applied either underwater or before submersing. Other layers include a backing layer and a heat curing layer. The marine laminate is directly applied to one or more surfaces submerged under-water by contacting the submerged surface with the adhesive layer of the flexible marine laminate.
