A releasable fastening device is operative to releasably attach a selected one of the at least two outer cover sections having a first outer side external appearance to the outer side of the inner item-carrying section and by releasing the releasable fastening device and connecting another of the outer cover sections having a second outer side external appearance thereto, the external appearance of the appearance-changeable wallet is able to be changed and coordinated with other selected accessories.
