Abstract: A baby swaddle includes a body having a first layer and a second layer which are attached along one or both side edges to form the body. The body has a top opening and a bottom opening and a pouch at a bottom of the body. A top edge includes at least one closure mechanism, such as a press stud, for adjusting a neck hole between a closed configuration and an open configuration. The pouch can be formed from a third layer attached to at least part of the first and/or second layer or by upwardly folding the second layer where the second layer is longer than the first layer. The body is made of a stretchable, material having breathable and antibacterial properties, such as soft bamboo material or merino wool.
