  • Patent number: 10056949
Abstract: In an aspect a transceiver is provided. The transceiver may include a plurality of local oscillator (LO) generators configured to generate a plurality of LO signals, respectively, for mixing with one or more communication signals. The transceiver also includes a first synthesizer configured to generate a first reference signal and a second synthesizer configured to generate a second reference signal. The transceiver also includes a distribution circuit. The distribution circuit is configured to switch an input to at least one of the LO generators between the first and second reference signals for tuning each of the at least one of the LO generators between two different LO frequencies and to input to the other ones of the LO generators the first reference signal for tuning each of the other ones of the LO generators to an LO frequency.

  • Patent number: 9210535
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for providing active interference cancellation in a wireless communication system having a Bluetooth transmit chain and a WLAN receive chain. A signal sampled from the Bluetooth transmit chain is gain and phase adjusted to offset interference in the WLAN receive chain. A quadrature phase shifter may be used to generate quadrature components of the sampled signal that are selectively combined to achieve a desired phase adjustment. The phase shifter may be stabilized by a variable capacitor. These techniques may be extended to MIMO systems.

  • Patent number: 8204451
Abstract: A transceiver for use in a wireless device. The transceiver may include a receive portion for receiving an input RF signal. The receive portion may include at least one receive filter which may include a first filter. The transceiver may also include a transmit portion for transmitting an output RF signal. The transmit portion may include at least one transmit filter, which may include the first filter used in the receive portion. The transceiver may further include a plurality of switches, which may include a first switch coupled to an input of the first filter and a second switch coupled to an output of the first filter. The plurality of switches may be configurable to enable use of the first filter in the receive portion for receiving the input RF signal and use of the first filter in the transmit portion for transmitting the output RF signal.
