Abstract: A standing shower caddy includes a frame, a horizontally adjustable shelf, a shelf adjustment mechanism, and a bumper. The horizontally adjustable shelf connects with a substantially vertical support member of the frame. The shelf adjustment mechanism cooperates with at least one of the frame and the horizontally adjustable shelf. The shelf adjustment mechanism is operable in a first operating position which allows for horizontal movement of the horizontally adjustable shelf with respect to the substantially vertical support member in a forward direction and a rearward direction. The shelf adjustment mechanism is also operable in a second operating position where the horizontally adjustable shelf is precluded from movement with respect to the substantially vertical support member in at least one of the forward direction and the rearward direction. The bumper can be located on the horizontally adjustable shelf to contact a substantially vertical wall surface of the shower stall.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described for using an autoinjector device. In one aspect, an autoinjector device comprises a housing and a plunger slidably mounted to the housing, the plunger including a tapered region. An actuator urges the plunger with respect to the housing from a storage position to a launch position, and a friction element about a portion of the tapered region resists a movement of the plunger from the storage position to the launch position.

Abstract: Phototherapy systems comprising a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in an assembly comprising a first wall to which the lamps are affixed thereto and a second wall, closer to the patient, spaced from the first wall wherein the lamps are recessed relative thereto. The second wall comprises a reflective surface facing towards a patient and a plurality of light apertures substantially aligned with the LEDs on the first wall for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps and associated circuitry are disposed between the first and second wall so that the reflective surface is relatively smooth and seamless towards the patient. The walls have a malleable rigidity for flexible adjustability relative to the user. The device is mounted to the user with a frame comprising an eyeglass frame or goggles including lenses for shielding the user's eyes from lamp radiation.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for providing safe syringe assemblies for injections. The syringe assemblies include a shielding mechanism that covers a syringe needle after an injection is delivered, thereby reducing the risk of a subsequent accidental stab from the needle. The shielding mechanism has a pre-injection configuration in which the needle extends beyond the housing and a post-injection configuration in which at least one component of the syringe assembly covers the needle. In some implementations, the syringe assembly includes a lock that inhibits the assembly from returning to the pre-injection configuration once an injection is delivered. The syringe assemblies may also include a bevel orientation mechanism that allows a user to align a needle bevel to accurately insert a needle for injection.

The basket includes multiple compartments, with at least one split compartment serving as a hinged lid for another compartment. The basket first compartment is defined by sidewalls and a bottom wall, and is open at a side opposite the bottom wall, while the split second compartment is attached to a sidewall of the first compartment and is defined by two sub-compartments capable of movement between an open and a closed position, which when either sub-compartment is in a closed position at least a partial cover to the open top end of the first compartment is formed. The two sub-compartments are open on only one side such that as they adjoin when both sub-compartments are in a closed position a single compartment is formed. The basket is stable when either or both sub-compartments is opened as well.

A press plate configured to fit within the hopper at an open end opposite the grating barrel engages food disposed therein and moves the same into contact with the grating barrel. The detachable end cap includes concentric first and second parts, the first part including a passage defined thereon through which grated food may pass and the second part including at least two distinct areas each having an opening defined thereon, at least one of the first and second parts being movable relative to the other such that the two distinct areas of the second part may be aligned with the passage on the first part.
