    Abstract: A pivoting watertight door has at least one panel with two parallel bars mounted thereon by means of links. At least one link forms a catch for locking the door in a closed position. The links are mounted so as to pivot on the door panel and also on the parallel bars where the bars are connected together at their ends, in pairs, and facing each other. Two connecting links are mounted so as to pivot on the one hand on the panel and on the other hand on two facing ends of the bars.
