  • Patent number: 11872502
Abstract: A gaming system comprises a gaming controller for conducting a first and second dice game, a display device to present the dice games, a plurality of dice, and one or more automated dice units (ADUs) to house and shake the dice to generate a dice outcome. The gaming controllers are configured to detect, via at least one sensor in response to generating the dice outcome, outcome indicia for each die, identify a first set of dice and a second set of dice at least partially different from the first set, translate the detected outcome indicia of the first set into outcome values for a first game outcome of the first dice game and the detected outcome indicia of the second set into outcome values for a second game outcome of the second dice game, and cause the display device to present the game outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20230063430
Abstract: A gaming system comprises a player terminal, an automated dice unit (ADU), and game-logic circuitry. The ADU automatically shakes at least one die to generate a dice outcome. The game-logic circuitry receives player input from a player selecting one or more dice games, prompts the player to provide a dice control parameter affecting an aspect of a dice roll, converts the dice control parameter into a control data element compatible with the ADU, transmits ADU control data including the control data element to the ADU, causes the ADU to extract the control data element and generate a dice outcome by generating a dynamic force applied to the die based at least partially on the control data element, generates a game outcome for each of the selected dice games based on the dice outcome, and causes an electronic display device of the player terminal to present the game outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20190108725
Abstract: A roulette wagering system is described that includes a roulette machine configured to operate live roulette games in which a roulette ball is launched into an angled annular track encircling a roulette wheel. A controller associated with the roulette machine may regulate one or more inertial values associated with the roulette ball. A bet close time of a betting window associated with the live roulette games may be determined based on the one or more inertial values associated. A rotation velocity of the roulette wheel may be adjusted subsequent to a bet close time of a live roulette games. Game cycle events may be detected using audio associated with the live roulette games and audible and/or visual effects may be generated based on the audio. A controller associated with the roulette machine may synchronizes the live roulette games operated by the roulette machine with live roulette games operated by one or more additional roulette machines. Bets may be placed based on a player selected betting risk level.

  • Publication number: 20180315274
Abstract: An electronic wagering system may have a player input system, a game processor and a random outcome wagering event system in communication with the game processor. The electronic wagering system receives wagers on a wagering event generating a random outcome event that is used to determine outcomes on received wagers. The processor accounts for wagers placed, credits entered, wagers lost and wagers won and credit status. When the gaming system does not require a contribution to a non-gaming institution, the player input system must contain a specific control that enables a player to input instructions on each of or at least one in of recipient(s) of a charitable contribution, amount of contribution from either credit status or directly from winnings before being contributed to the credit status.

  • Patent number: 8771052
Abstract: A method and apparatus provides a wagering game. Steps may include: a. providing a game field and a position indicator on the game field; b. positioning the position indictor on a first position on the game field; c. accepting a wager on a game event; d. providing a first random event outcome, including moving the position indicator on the field from the first position to a second position; e. repeating a first additional random event outcome providing instruction for moving the position indicator from the second position on the game field to a third position; f. repeating at least one additional random event outcome that provides instruction for moving the position indicator from the third position in a direction on the game field to a fourth position; and g. determining an outcome on the wager based on a final position on the game field.
