Abstract: A device to enable an individual the ability to stand in an upright position including a backboard component; a foot component; and at least one strap for securing the individual to the device; wherein the backboard component and the foot component are connected by an attachment means allowing the foot component to fold into the backboard permitting the device to be easily transported.

Abstract: A light device comprised of an ultraviolet light source and an additional light source; wherein the additional light source is selected from the group consisting of a white light fluorescent and incandescent light; and a related system for sterilizing and cleansing a surface comprising the light device and a switch selected from the group consisting of infrared, movement, electric eye, manual, contact switches, auto or semi-automatic, hard wired, pre- and after market versions; wherein the switch controls the activation and deactivation of the ultraviolet light source and the additional light source such that they are not both on at the same time.
