    Abstract: Provided is a multi-phase particulate having a dispersed phase component dispersed in and bound to a bulk phase component. The dispersed phase component includes a metal, a metal oxide, an organometallic compound, salts thereof, and/or mixtures thereof, and the bulk phase component includes an inorganic material different from the dispersed phase component. The dispersed phase component is present in an amount ranging from 0.5 to 60 percent by weight based on total combined weight of the dispersed phase component and the bulk phase component. Related methods, compositions and composites also are provided.
