Abstract: An apparatus for intrasosseous injection of medication to the medullary cavity of a jawbone and for the extraction of medullary bone contents is disclosed. It comprises an implant housing component, a drill bit component and a seal plug component. The implant housing component is implanted into the cortical bone of the mandible. The drill bit component produces a hole within the mandible that initiates the implanting of the implant housing component. The seal plug component that is removably attached to the distal end of the implant housing component allows for repeated access of a hypodermic needle into the mandible.
