  • Patent number: 7926024
Abstract: A software program, for allowing users to manage the execution of a complex set of steps toward the solution of complex system analysis problems. The set of steps is termed a recipe. A step is a small focused task designed to accomplish a single, well-defined goal. This invention allows recipes to be easily switched, recorded and reused and for steps to be dynamically reconfigurable based on what the user does.

  • Publication number: 20080059625
Abstract: A method of semi-automatic data collection, data analysis and model generation for performance analysis of computer networks and software is provided. The invention provides a graphical user interface which indicates the overall data flow in the performance analysis process and guides the user through the proper sequence of steps in that process. Underneath the graphical user interface, the invention provides software tools which include novel data pipeline for transformation of network traces, resource data and application data into organized hash tables, and further into spreadsheets for introduction into computer network simulation programs. The invention also provides novel algorithms for recognizing transaction and parentage between transactions from low level network trace data. The invention further provides novel methods of visualization of trace data and transaction and parentage associations.

  • Publication number: 20050202090
Abstract: Pharmaceutical dosage forms are produced by injection molding a mixture of an agent and a polymer under pressure, in the presence of a gas or supercritical fluid. Rapid release of the pressure causes the mixture to form a microcellular or supermicrocellular solid. The release of pressure takes place in the mold. The process is especially useful for producing durable flash-dissolve and gastro-retentive tablets.

  • Publication number: 20030226802
Abstract: An apparatus for the removal of suspended solids and entrained oil from an aqueous solution. Using either wire mesh or corrugated coalescing material made of an oleo-philic material and an oleo-phobic material. An inlet chamber that serves as a pre-coalescing vessel and reduces the velocity of the incoming fluid in an unhindered manor. The vessel contains five strategically placed baffles that gently change the direction of flow throughout the vessel. And four solids collection hoppers located under the vessel three of which have perforated plates that insure the solids become trapped beneath said plates. A coalescing media cleaning device consisting of strategically placed tubes throughout the coalescing media pack the evenly distributed bursts of air bubbles produced by this device agitates the accumulated solids thus releasing the solids into the fluid stream.
